Benchmade Monochrome Pocket Knife Review
The Benchmade Monochromatic is slender adequate to be your mundane public utility knife and rugged enough to be counted on while on active military duty. I was able to acquire a good trade on this knife and here are my thoughts:
What I like about the knife:
1. Benchmade's Monolock is extremely strong and have been proven to throw up over time. My knife have no motion in the lock, either up and down or side to side. Your fingers will be glad to have got this type of protection.
2. At just over 3 ins long (3.04), the driblet point style leaf blade is crafted with N690 unstained steel which come ups shaving crisp right out of the box. You have got the option of a apparent or one-half serrated border when you purchase a Monochromatic and I chose the apparent border version.
3. The leaf blade and locking chemical mechanism aren't the lone tough parts on the Monochrome; the manage is made from very lasting unstained steel. There are channels cut into the handle, which give you other grip.
4. The leaf blade open ups easily with a flick of the ambidextrous pollex stud. This characteristic do the knife perfect for right or left handed carry.
5. You have got the option of N690 unstained steel or 420J unstained and your knife can either come up in all achromatic or all silver. The achromatic version is ideal for military or law enforcement who number on the anti-reflective finish.
What I didn't like:
I would wish to see this knife available with a fully serrated leaf blade and with a cartridge holder or tanto point.
Overall:
With a recommended retail value of $60, the Benchmade Monochromatic battalions a batch of poke for a very sensible price. The practical leaf blade design, rock-solid lock and rugged manage do it one of the best trades in the knife human race today.
