My Review Of The Buck Bantam Pocketknife

The Vaulting Horse Bantam pocket knife is an low-cost yet rugged comrade that is meant to last a lifetime. Unlike some knife companies who only guarantee their knives for 1 to 5 years, Vaulting Horse trusts their tools enough to give them a "forever warranty".

I was looking for a good folding knife when I came across Buck's Bantam, and I decided to pick one up.

Knife Specs.

Blade length: 3/34"

Blade Material: Satin Coating 420HC Stainless Steel

Handle Material: Thermoplastic, textured

Length Closed: 5 1/8" (13 cm)

Weight: 3.2 oz. (91.1 g)

What I like about the knife:

1. At 3.75 inches, the drop-point style leaf blade is a perfect size for mundane carry. The Bantam gives you plenty of size for public utility work, but shouldn't acquire you into problem with the law.

My knife came hair shaving crisp right out of the box, and goes on to throw a very good edge. The good thing about 420 unstained steel is that it will be immune to rust, but still remain crisp after perennial use.

2. The thermoplastic resin manage stuff gives you a really nice clasp and will not be affected by rainy or muddy conditions. The pollex channels directly before the spinal column of the leaf blade give you a nice topographic point to use pressure level when making precise cuts.

3. The unstained steel pocket cartridge holder is replaceable if it ever interrupts on you. This type of fix is covered under Buck's warranty.

4. Each Vaulting Horse Bantam utilizes a lockback mechanism, which is regarded as one of the toughest lock styles in the knife industry. You habit demand to worry about the knife shutting on your fingers.

5. With a recommended retail value of $26.00, this is one of the toughest knives available for such as a low price. You can actually happen less terms around the web too.

What I didn't like:

The knife is built like a tank, but I wish that they offered it with partial or full serrations. Other than that, the Vaulting Horse Bantam is a steal for the money.

Overall:

If you're looking for an low-cost and super-tough pocket knife, travel acquire a Vaulting Horse Bantam. You habit be disappointed!
